Album Review: Velociraptor! - Kasabian

Velociraptor literally means swift seizer which is a spot on description for Kasabian's latest album.

Think, The Rolling Stones raping The Ting Tings.

Seized your attention yet?

With a weird mixture of psychedellia, swagger and even poetry, they are one of the apparent and rightful heir of Britain's long line of rock royalties.

Best track:
LaFee Verte also known as The Green Fairy is a sophisticated drug that easily gets you high. It starts with what seemed like beautiful insect noises and progresses into a drum driven musing that shifts from indie to neo-psychedellia from verse to another. It then swiftly fades with another set of gallactic sounds after a mindlessly longing "na na na".

Can be a soundtrack to:
Between four and five in the morning when you havent slept for twelve hours and you already had three mugs of coffee.

This album isnt much of a creativity inducing though it is in itself is already a work of creativity.

Also during substance intoxication when you just want to drift away.

Stars: Four!
